Legal free options
Many broadcasters stream some channels free online, and ad-supported platforms offer free linear channels in their apps. If a handful of channels is all you need, these can be enough — and they're licensed.
Why free playlists cause problems
- They break. Shared links stop working within days as sources close.
- No guide or catch-up. Most are bare lists of streams.
