UK broadband: what speed you need
Plan on about 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K per screen. Ofcom counts 30 Mbps and above as “superfast”, and a superfast or full-fibre line from BT, Sky, Virgin Media, TalkTalk, Vodafone, EE or an altnet comfortably covers one 4K stream or two HD streams.
