IPTV for LG Smart TV
LG Smart TVs run webOS and support IPTV through apps in the LG Content Store. Like Samsung apps, most LG players connect your subscription through the TV's MAC address or a short code on the developer's website — with the Magic Remote's pointer making the on-screen parts quicker.

Setting up IPTV on an LG TV
- Press Home and open the LG Content Store (called Apps on newer webOS). Search for the player and install it.
- Open it and note the MAC address (or, in SS IPTV, get a connection code in Settings).
- On a phone or computer, open the app's website, enter the MAC or code, and add your M3U link or Xtream Codes details.
- Reopen the app on the TV. The first load of a large channel list can take a minute.
webOS tips
- Quick Start+ keeps the TV in a light sleep. If a newly added playlist doesn't appear, unplug the TV for 30 seconds to force a full restart.
- TruMotion: set it to Off or Cinematic Movement if sport looks smeared.
- Region: the Content Store shows apps for the country set in Settings → General → Location, so some apps appear only in certain regions.
Older LG TVs (NetCast)
LG TVs from before webOS run NetCast and have very few IPTV apps. A Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box is the practical choice.
