A good IPTV deal is simple: it lowers the effective monthly price of a plan you'd buy anyway, from a provider you've already tested, with a refund policy in writing. The most common legitimate deals are long-plan discounts and bonus months. The traps look similar — "lifetime" plans, countdown timers and crossed-out prices that were never real — so do the maths before you pay.

How to calculate the real value
- Take the price you pay.
- Divide by all the months you get, including bonus months.
- Compare that effective monthly price with the provider's normal plan for the same screens.
Example: a plan at €65.99 for 12 months is €5.50 a month. A "12 + 2" offer at the same price would be about €4.71 a month — a real saving of around 14%. Our pricing guide walks through the same calculation for any provider.
Deal traps to avoid
- "Lifetime" subscriptions. The service can't be funded for life from one payment; these usually end when the seller disappears.
- Fake strikethrough prices. A crossed-out price that nobody ever paid makes a normal price look discounted.
- Countdown timers that reset when you reload the page.
- Deals only for a year up front with no trial. You carry all the risk.
- Payment by gift card or unusual methods only. There's no way to get your money back.
- Discounts that require sharing your login with others. That usually breaks the terms and causes connection errors.
