Xbox can run IPTV; PlayStation practically can't. On Xbox, apps from the Microsoft Store — such as MyIPTV Player or Kodi with the PVR IPTV Simple Client — can play an M3U playlist with a programme guide. PlayStation doesn't offer IPTV player apps that accept Xtream Codes or M3U logins, so a streaming stick or Smart TV app is the way to go.
IPTV on Xbox
Option 1: MyIPTV Player
- Open the Microsoft Store on your Xbox and search for MyIPTV Player.
- Install and open it, then add your M3U playlist link in settings.
- Add the EPG (XMLTV) link for the programme guide.
- Refresh and open the channel list.
Option 2: Kodi
- Install Kodi from the Microsoft Store.

IPTV on PlayStation
PlayStation's store focuses on major streaming services and doesn't offer general IPTV players. The built-in media player handles files from USB or a home media server, not live IPTV playlists. Practical options:
