When an IPTV subscription expires, channels and on-demand content stop playing and the app shows an "expired" or login error — but your apps and settings stay installed. Renewing restores access, usually by extending your existing account so nothing else changes. Whether you're charged automatically depends on the provider: prepaid plans simply end; auto-renewing plans charge again unless you cancel.

How to check your expiry date
- IPTV Smarters: the expiry date appears in the account / user info section.
- TiviMate: open playlist settings to see account details.
- Other Xtream Codes apps: look for "account info" or "expiry".
- MAG boxes: check the portal's account info, or ask your provider.
Note the date in your calendar a few days ahead.
How renewal works
Most providers extend the same account, so your server URL, username and password don't change. If you receive new login details, update them in your app — see how to update your IPTV login.
Renewing without losing setup
- Renew a day or two before expiry.
- Keep the same app and login if possible.
- If the login changes, edit the existing playlist rather than deleting it, to keep favourites where the app allows it.
- Refresh the channel list and guide afterwards.
Should you change plan length at renewal?

"Expired" but you just paid?
- Restart the app and refresh the playlist.
- Check you're using the renewed login, not an old trial login.
