To update your IPTV login, edit the existing playlist or user in your app, replace the server URL (and username/password if they changed), then refresh the playlist. Editing rather than deleting keeps your favourites in most apps. On Smart TV apps, update the details on the developer's website; on MAG boxes, change the portal URL in settings.
When you need to update
- Your provider moved to a new server or domain.
- You switched from a trial to a paid account with new details.
- Your password was reset.
- You changed provider.
TiviMate
- Settings → Playlists → select your playlist.
- Choose Edit (or Playlist settings) and update the server address, username and password.
- Save, then Update playlist and Update EPG.
IPTV Smarters
Some versions let you edit the user; otherwise:
- Add a new user with the new details — see Xtream Codes setup.
- Open the new user and check channels load.
- Delete the old user once everything works.
Smart TV apps (IBO, SET IPTV, Smart One)
Update the playlist on the developer's website against your TV's MAC address, then restart the app — see IBO Pro and SET IPTV.
MAG boxes
Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals → replace the portal URL, save and restart the portal — see MAG box setup.
Check the new details carefully
