To change subtitles or audio language on IPTV, open the player's playback menu during viewing and pick Subtitles/CC or Audio track. What's available depends on the channel or film — many live channels carry one audio track and no subtitles, while on-demand films more often include several. If options are missing, switching the player in your app's settings sometimes reveals them.
Where to find the options
| App | During playback |
|---|---|
| TiviMate | Press OK / menu → audio track, subtitles |
| IPTV Smarters | Tap or press menu → audio / subtitles icons |
| VLC | Audio → Audio track; Subtitle → Sub track |
| Kodi | On-screen settings → Audio / Subtitles |
| Smart TV apps | Options/menu button during playback |
Menu names vary by version.

When subtitles or tracks don't appear
- Try another player — built-in players differ in which subtitle formats they show. See IPTV Smarters settings.
- Try the other version of the channel (HD/FHD) — they can carry different tracks.
- Check the device's own caption settings (Fire TV, Google TV and Apple TV have accessibility settings).
- Ask the provider whether that channel carries subtitles.
Subtitle styling
Many players and devices let you change subtitle size, colour and background — useful on large TVs. Look for caption or subtitle style settings in the app or the device's accessibility menu.
